Welcome to my version of TWTD. It took 3-4 hours to set up, using wordpress and a number of wordpress plugins.

User features:

• ability to comment on posts
• stories archived and tagged according to categories
• search facility
• friendly, accessible design
• chat room

Admin features:

• management of users and passwords
• sticky and announcement posts
• comment approval and management
• CMS GUI
• post to site from a mobile phone
• use hundreds of freely available designs

Plugin features:

• sticky plugin (for stickies and announcements)
• contact form plugin
• polls plugin
• message board plugin (although I would install phpBB if my ISP allowed more than 1 SQL database)
• chat room plugin (handy for match days)

Perhaps better than the current TWTD?
